INTER-Species Protein Interaction Analysis (INTERSPIA)

Analysis and visualization of the dynamics of protein-protein interactions among multiple species

INTERSPIA is a web-based application for the analysis and visualization of the dynamics of protein-protein interactions among multiple species.

Given proteins of user's interest, INTERSPIA explores a protein-protein interaction network to find directly/indirectly related proteins based on the STRING database using the random walk with restart algorithm (optional step), and visualizes the similarities and differences of protein-protein interactions among multiple species using orthologous protein information. The STRING database contains direct (physical) as well as indirect (functional) interactions.

INTERSPIA is fully functional only in the Chrome, Firefox and Safari web browser.
